Description

Excision and conization of the cervix are minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that allow the removal of foci of growth of pathologically altered tissues from the surface of the cervix. The removed tissues are sent to the laboratory for a mandatory pathomorphological study and to establish the structure of the nature of the origin of the tissues.

The analysis is used in the diagnosis of endometriosis, polyps, cysts, oncological and precancerous diseases of the cervix.

When and who needs the test?

The test is taken out to assess the risk of pathological changes in the tissue and cells of the uterus resulting from excision and conization.
