Description
Pathomorphological examination with immunohistochemical determination of estrogen receptors is a morphological assessment of tissues with analysis of estrogen receptor expression in the cells of the examined material.
When and who needs the test?
- when performing a pathomorphological examination with the need to assess hormonal receptor expression;
- in cases of morphological tissue changes that require clarification of their hormonal sensitivity;
- as an immunohistochemical stage within PMF;
- for an extended morphological characterization of the tissue;
- in complex or ambiguous pathomorphological cases.
