Description
The Shuvarsky test is a test aimed at determining the number and activity of spermatozoa in the cervical mucus of a woman after intercourse.
With the help of the test, the adequacy of the interaction of sperm with cervical mucus is determined. The postcoital test is used in the diagnosis of infertility of immune origin. It should be taken in combination with a spermogram.
When and who needs the test?
- infertility;
- determination of immunological compatibility of partners;
- normal spermogram and the absence of the most common causes of infertility in women.
