Description
Hepatitis G virus (HGV) is one of the infectious pathogens that provoke the development of inflammatory processes in the liver. It is transmitted mainly parenterally (through the blood).
Determination of the genetic material of the virus in the blood can confirm the infection.
The test is widely used to diagnose viral hepatitis G and in combination with markers of other viruses for its differential diagnosis with other viral hepatitis.
