3124. PCR. HPV HCR (screening, Qvintip)
Description
Screening test for detecting 14 oncogenic types of human papillomavirus, performed by real-time PCR on the automated Cobas® system (Roche, FDA approved). The use of the Qvintip kit allows for obtaining high-quality urogenital material in a more comfortable way, without instrumental sampling. The test provides separate genotyping of HPV 16 and 18 and group detection of 12 additional high-risk HPV types in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine №1057.
When and who needs the test?
- For primary screening in women aged 25 and older – once every 5 years (according to Order №1057 of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine).
- For women with an abnormal Pap test (ASC-US, LSIL, HSIL).
- In cases of suspected HPV-associated cervical changes.
- Co-testing (Pap + HPV test) is the recommended modern screening strategy.

Preparation for cytology
- Collect the material before starting treatment with antibacterial/antifungal drugs (general and local action).
- In case of treatment monitoring – 14 days after the end of the course of treatment with antibacterial/antifungal drugs.
