Description
Package ‘Autoimmune advanced hepatitis’ - screening of immune components of the blood to detect damage to the liver by body cells.
Autoimmune hepatitis is a systemic inflammatory disease that primarily affects the liver, but a number of other organs (skin, blood vessels, lungs, muscles, joints) can also be involved in the process. The disease in the early stages can be asymptomatic, and with a long course it manifests itself: heaviness in the right hypochondrium, jaundice, dark urine, severe weakness, decreased appetite, skin itching, amenorrhea in women and gynecomastia in men.
This pathology occurs more often in young women. Diagnosis is based on serological detection of antinuclear antibodies (ANA), tissue antibodies to smooth muscle (ASMA, IFT method), antibodies to liver and kidney microsomes (LKM, IFT method), hypergamaglobulinemia, increased IgG titer, and liver biopsy data

Recommended in case of suspected autoimmune liver damage – biliary cirrhosis, to assess the activity of the process and control treatment.
