Description
A comprehensive test is elaborated to identify possible triggering allergens in case of suspected allergic nature of respiratory symptoms.
The test is used to detect sensitization to the major allergenic component rBet v 1 (protein PR-10) – to confirm the diagnosis of allergy to birch before starting immunotherapy with birch pollen extract and minor allergens – Bet v 2 (protein of the profilin family) and Bet v 4 (calcium-binding protein), confirming polysensitization to plants.
