Description

Hemostasiogram is a complex multicomponent test that allows you to objectively assess the state of the blood coagulation system. A hemostasiogram is more informative than a coagulogram since it includes an assessment of the D-dimer as an indicator of thrombosis and antithrombin as a substance that ensures the normal functioning of heparin.

It is used for diagnostic of many blood clotting disorders (thrombosis, bleeding, disseminated intravascular coagulation and others), allows to assess the state of a person in the pre- and postoperative period, to find out the risks of developing various diseases of the blood system and their complications and is optimal for monitoring the treatment of clotting disorders.

When and who needs the test?

When examining before surgery, with suspected pulmonary embolism, disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome, with bleeding of any localization, when taking anticoagulants, with severe liver diseases, repeated miscarriages, examining a patient with thrombosis, thromboembolism, positive antibodies to cardiolipin and lupus antibodies, with hereditary predisposition to disorders of the hemostatic system.
