Description
This test measures the level of deoxypyridinoline in urine – a biochemical marker of bone resorption.
When and who needs the test?
- Diagnosis and monitoring of treatment effectiveness in osteoporosis of various origins (primary hyperparathyroidism, menopause, hyperthyroidism, hypercortisolism, including iatrogenic).
