Description
Hepatitis B and C are dangerous and widespread infections of the liver with a predominantly parenteral route of transmission from a sick person to a healthy person. In some cases, they can be asymptomatic and diagnosed only in the later stages of the disease. This is dangerous because it leads to the development of cirrhosis and/or liver cancer. Their timely detection and initiation of treatment is of fundamental importance.
Primary screening for hepatitis B and C allows diagnosing hepatitis in the early stages of the disease (including asymptomatic forms).
