Description
The package includes 4 allergens: mold Alternaria alternata, Cladosporium herbarum, Penicillium notatum and yeast-like fungus Candida albicans. It has been established that among indoor allergens, fungi occupy the second most important place after house dust mites.
The main role in the development of allergies is played by fungal spores and pieces of mycelium, including those adsorbed on dust particles or vegetating (growing) on pollen grains. There are no clear norms for the content of fungi in the air, only the conditional norm is no more than 500 spores/ m3, but during the studies it turned out that in more than 80% of the premises it was exceeded, and in some the concentration of spores in the air reached tens and hundreds of thousands per m3. For Cladosporium and Alternaria, the content rate is 102 and 3 x 103 / m3.
