Description
Aspergillus flavus is a pathogenic saprophytic fungus from the genus Aspergillus. Distributed almost everywhere: in soil, air, old books, feather pillows, air conditioners and humidifiers. Large colonies of Aspergillus flavus are found in grains of wheat and legumes. They are formed during harvesting, storage and transportation of these crops.
Often, Aspergillus flavus infections affect workers in cheese factories, flour mills, breweries, and farmers. It is known that aspergillus is the cause of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, chronic necrotizing pulmonary aspergillosis, can cause bronchial asthma, exogenous allergic alveolitis.
