Description
Holcus mollis is a plant from the Cereal family. It is present in large quantities in meadows and is widely used in the preparation of fodder for livestock. The period of active flowering falls on June and July.
Upon contact during this period with woolly buckthorn, people with sensitization to its pollen may develop allergic reactions like hay fever. Evaluation of antibody levels helps to diagnose woolly buckthorn allergy and prevent its development in the future.
