Description
Cyfra CA 21-1 is the most sensitive tumor marker for lung carcinoma. Cyfra CA 21-1 levels are elevated in lung, uterine, and bladder cancers. May be elevated in smokers and in the presence of inflammatory lung disease.
The test is widely used as an additional marker in the diagnosis of lung cancer and monitoring the effectiveness of its treatment, as well as to assess the patient's condition in case of bladder cancer.
