Description
The PRISCA I trimester + ferritin package is a non-invasive laboratory study designed to assess the risk of congenital anomalies in the fetus and to assess iron levels in the mother. The program calculates the risks of developing trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome), trisomy 13 (Patau).
Indications:
- diagnostic examination of all pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy to assess the individual risk of chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus;
- ultrasound signs of pathology of fetal development, identified in the first trimester;
- deviations of biochemical parameters of prenatal research;
- high risk of developing a genetic mutation according to medical and genetic counseling;
- justification for invasive diagnosis in pregnant women.

Indications for appointmentAccording to the order of the Ministry of Health № 417 from 15.07.11 all pregnant women are recommended prenatal screening, especially:
- pregnant women over 35 years;

- deviations on ultrasound.
