Description
Tumor-M2-pyruvate kinase is a protein that is synthesized in large quantities by the cells of most tumors. The activity of its synthesis directly depends on the malignancy of the tumor.
The test is used to detect oncological diseases, assess their malignancy and the effectiveness of treatment, as well as monitor relapses and metastases.
The test should be taken in combination with other oncomarkers of the gastrointestinal tract, mammary gland, squamous cell carcinoma antigen, etc.
